The Kindergarteners set off on a fun trip to the Farm in the City in Seri Kembangan in May 2018.
Children were taken to see animals both wild and farm animals in a well-designed conservation park just half an hour from the city. The children were in for a treat when they were able to not only see but also touch and experience some activities that they normally are not exposed to.
There were farm animals such as goats, chicken, cows and horses from many regions of the world. As well wild animals such tortoises, snakes, lizards and others that are usually seen only in a zoo.
Children were allowed to touch and feel the smooth skin of a phyton, the rough and scaly lizard and also the soft and cuddly rabbit.
Apart from this, the children also had an experience of feeding some animals and using little nets to “catch” fish. There was a lot of fun and laughter as they scooped out little fish and released it back into the pond.
Talking parrots also entertained the children as the children watched the very talented bird keeper instruct the parrots to carry out tricks from him.
The children had an amazing experience in the midst of nature.
